You are perhaps aware, the Great Falls Genealogy Society Library was re-opened and is available to patrons, Tuesday through Saturday, from 1pm – 4pm. It is necessary for you to wear a mask while in the Library and we can only have 10 people (volunteers included) in the Library at any one time. With those guidelines in mind, please come to see us.
Our thanks to those who facilitated the re-opening by volunteering to serve in the Public Library’s Montana Room and the GFGS Library. Our thanks, too, to those who have kept our Society running (or perhaps limping) along during the COVID-19 shut down. Your efforts to take care of GFGS necessities are most appreciated.
In-person meetings of the Acquisition Committee have resumed, but General Meetings of the Society will continue to be held via Zoom, due to restrictions on the number of people in the Library. The next meeting of our Society Board has a number of items to look at as we consider how to move ahead with Society operations. We will share their decisions at our next General Meeting as well as posting them on our website.
It has been so good to see those of you who have dropped by the Library since we re-opened! Please continue to do all you possibly can to remain safe and healthy.
